Shri Sewaram Charitable Trust was constituted on November 30, 2002 at Kota to support programs in education, health care, rural development and destitute care.
The trust is formed & mentored by Shri RK Verma. Mr. Verma is one of the leading educationist and entrepreneur of India’s education sector. An alumnus of IIT Madras (1994), Mr. Verma is an Electrical Engineer by qualification and a teacher by heart. His business acumen, visionary leadership, unbeatable determination and work ethics makes him stand a class apart. Mr. Verma in his individual capacity has also been taking up various social initiatives like charity to government schools, donations to natural calamity affected victims; sponsoring education of meritorious students etc.
Since its establishment the trust has been actively working in the direction as laid by its objectives. The trust has taken up many initiatives in health care by organizing free health camps, free check-up camps, pulse-polio awareness drives, donation to Clinical Healthcare Centre-Ramganjmandi etc. In the education sector the trust has been keenly working by constructing hostels for financially weak students, promoting infra-structure in government schools, making payment of school fee of children, distributing school bags & books etc.
Shri Sewaram Charitable Trust goal is to be a serious contributor to the society by uplifting the living standards of economically backward class. It also aims to set up educational institutions to deliver quality formal education both at school and higher education level; the mission is to nurture and groom the young generation of the country into responsible citizens of tomorrow. The trust is already running its own school namely ‘SR Global School’ in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur.
The trust also proposes to develop a University; the vision of university would be to develop students having academic excellence to compete at global level with Indian values. These institutions would provide a platform to the deserving talent and an opportunity to excel their potential.
